Begin your 8-day Morocco desert tour with an early pickup from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech. Travel through the stunning High Atlas Mountains and Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, stopping for breathtaking panoramic views. Visit the Kasbah of Telouat, then head to Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its appearances in films like *Gladiator* and *Game of Thrones*. End your day in Ouarzazate, known as “The Gate of the Desert,” where you’ll have dinner and spend the night at a hotel.

After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate, starting with the Atlas Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Next, drive east to Amridil Kasbah, surrounded by picturesque palm groves in Skoura. Continue to Kalaa Mgouna, famous for its Rose Valley, where the annual Rose Festival showcases local products like perfumes and rose water. Finally, make your way to Dades Valley, stopping to admire the distinctive “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and stunning viewpoints. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel in Boumalne Dades.

After breakfast, we head to Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has carved impressive red cliffs. Feel free to explore the stunning canyon before driving through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, with free time for lunch along the way. In the afternoon, arrive at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you’ll switch to camels for a ride across the sandy dunes. Enjoy a magical sunset atop a high dune before continuing to your luxury desert camp. Experience Berber drum music and dancing around the campfire under a starry sky. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

Rise early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise, then enjoy breakfast before returning by camel to Merzouga, where your driver awaits. Spend the day exploring the Merzouga region, known for its stunning sand dunes, wild lakes, and lush oases. Start with an off-road drive to an ancient eyeliner mine, followed by a visit to nomads in their woven tents, where you’ll learn about their lifestyle over a cup of Berber tea. Next, visit Khamlia village to enjoy Gnaoua music and dance performances from residents of sub-Saharan origins. After a leisurely lunch, stroll through a palm grove and drive a few kilometers to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also known as Flamingos Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

After breakfast, we depart the desert and head to Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet, known for its vibrant souk, particularly lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After exploring the market, we continue to Erfoud to visit a workshop specializing in fossilized marble.

Next, we drive along the Ziz River, stopping for stunning panoramic views of the Ziz Valley. Enjoy free time for lunch in Midelt before continuing to the cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques—feel free to feed them as you wander through the trees.

Our journey then takes us to Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style architecture and cool climate. Finally, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation in Fes.

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation to explore the historic city of Fes, known as one of Morocco’s imperial cities and a cultural and religious hub.

We start by visiting the Royal Palace gate, followed by a stroll through the well-preserved medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter through the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) with a local guide to discover highlights such as the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and the Quaraouin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world.

Next, we’ll visit the Jewish quarter, known as the Mellah, before heading to an ancient fortress for panoramic views of the Medina and the city of Fes. After a day of exploration, we’ll return you to your riad.

After breakfast, we depart from Fes and head to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen. The drive offers stunning views of the Rif Mountains. Once we arrive, you’ll have time to explore the picturesque streets lined with blue-washed buildings, local shops, and vibrant markets. Visit the main square, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and the historic Kasbah. Enjoy free time for lunch at a local café and soak in the unique atmosphere of this artistic town. In the evening, enjoy the sunset views and return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
