Ten days covering the full breadth of Morocco from Agadir. Southern Morocco's Tizi-n-Test pass, Ait Benhaddou, and the Dades and Todra Gorges lead to two nights in the Merzouga dunes, followed by a long northward journey to Fes, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, and the blue city of Chefchaouen. Day by Day Itinerary
Pick-up from Agadir (7:00–8:00 AM). Drive through Taroudant — "the Small Marrakech" with its magnificent 16th-century ramparts. Cross the spectacular Tizi-n-Test mountain pass (2092m) through the High Atlas with breathtaking views. Arrive in Ouarzazate — visit the Taourirt Kasbah and optional film studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Visit UNESCO Ait Benhaddou. Drive through the Valley of Roses and Skoura palm grove. Explore the dramatic Dades gorges with their extraordinary rock formations. Overnight in Boumalne Dades.
Drive to Tinghir oasis then through the spectacular Todra Gorges (300m high red rock cliffs). Continue to Erfoud and Merzouga. Sunset camel trek into Erg Chebbi. Traditional Berber dinner, Gnawa music, overnight in the luxury desert camp.
Dawn Sahara sunrise. Full day in Erg Chebbi: 4×4 excursion to flamingo lake, nomadic families, sandboarding, Khamlia Gnawa village, optional quad. Second magical night in the desert camp.
Second Sahara sunrise. Visit Rissani souk. Drive north through Midelt and the Middle Atlas mountains to the ancient imperial city of Fes. Evening guided walk through the Fes medina. Overnight in Fes.
Full morning guided tour of the extraordinary Fes el-Bali medina — UNESCO World Heritage Site. Chouara tanneries, Al-Attarine madrasa, Kairaouine mosque. Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO) and the imperial city of Meknes. Drive to the magical Blue City of Chefchaouen. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Morning exploring Chefchaouen's blue alleys and Spanish mosque viewpoint. Drive south to Rabat — Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Kasbah des Oudaias. Brief stop at the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Continue to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.
Full guided tour of Marrakech: Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Jardin Majorelle, and the medina souks. Evening at the legendary Jemaa el-Fna square. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day trip to the stunning coastal city of Essaouira — UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the dramatic 18th-century sea ramparts, the vibrant blue fishing port, the art galleries, the wind-swept Atlantic beach, and the medina souks. Fresh seafood lunch. Return to Marrakech for final overnight.
Final day drive south from Marrakech through the Anti-Atlas foothills and the Souss Valley back to Agadir. Optional stop in Taroudant for last-minute souvenirs. Arrive in Agadir by early afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or Agadir Al Massira Airport. Tour ends.
