Day by Day Itinerary
Depart Marrakech over the High Atlas mountains via Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Visit the UNESCO Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, famous from Hollywood productions (Gladiator, Game of Thrones). Continue to Ouarzazate for lunch then along the Rose Valley to Boumalne Dades for overnight.

Morning through the magnificent Dades gorges then on to the towering Todra gorges. Afternoon arrival in Merzouga. Mount camels for a sunset trek into Erg Chebbi dunes. Overnight in a traditional Berber camp under the stars with music and traditional dinner.

Watch the Sahara sunrise. Breakfast in camp. Drive north through Rissani (famous souk), Erfoud, and up through the dramatic Ziz Valley with its spectacular palm groves. Overnight in Midelt in the Middle Atlas mountains.

Continue north through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing the charming town of Ifrane with its cedar forests and Barbary macaques. Afternoon arrival in Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco. Overnight in Fes.
Full morning guided tour of the Fes medina — one of the largest medieval cities in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the famous tanneries, ancient mosques, madrasas, and bustling souks. Tour ends in Fes.
