Day by Day Itinerary
Start at Cape Spartel (Atlantic meets Mediterranean, views of Spain 14km away) and the legendary Caves of Hercules. Drive along the coast to the beautiful whitewashed rampart town of Asilah. Continue to Chefchaouen — the magical Blue City in the Rif Mountains. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Morning free in Chefchaouen's blue medina. Visit UNESCO Volubilis (stunning Roman mosaics). Explore imperial Meknes (Bab Mansour gate, granaries of Heri es-Souani). Arrive in Fes by evening. Overnight in Fes.
Full guided tour of the legendary Fes el-Bali medina — UNESCO World Heritage Site. Chouara tanneries (11th century), Al-Attarine madrasa, Bou Inania madrasa, Kairaouine mosque (world's oldest university 859 AD), artisan souks. Second evening at leisure in the medina. Overnight in Fes.
Drive south through Ifrane and the Azrou cedar forest (Barbary macaques). Lunch in Midelt. Through the Ziz Gorges and Ziz Valley. Arrive Merzouga for sunset camel trek into Erg Chebbi. Berber dinner, Gnawa music, overnight in luxury desert camp.
Dawn Sahara sunrise. Full day: 4×4 to flamingo lake and nomadic families, sandboarding, Khamlia Gnawa village, optional quad. Second magnificent night in the desert camp under a star-filled sky.

Day trip to Essaouira — UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sea ramparts, blue fishing port, art galleries, Atlantic beach, medina souks. Seafood lunch. Drive north to Casablanca for overnight.
Visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca (world's 3rd largest, built over the Atlantic). Drive north through Rabat — Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Kasbah des Oudaias. Continue to Tanger. Arrive by evening. Drop-off at your hotel. Tour ends.
