The Tizi-n-Test pass and historic Taroudant lead to Ait Benhaddou, the Rose Valley, and the Dades and Todra Gorges, before two nights in the Merzouga dunes with 4×4 excursions, sandboarding, and a visit to the Gnawa village of Khamlia. Day by Day Itinerary
Pick-up from Agadir (7:00–8:00 AM). Drive through the Souss Valley to Taroudant ("Small Marrakech") — its magnificent 16th-century ramparts and authentic souk. Cross the spectacular Tizi-n-Test pass through the High Atlas (2092m). Visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and optional film studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Visit UNESCO Ait Benhaddou — Morocco's most-filmed kasbah. Drive through the Valley of Roses and Skoura palm grove. Explore the dramatic Dades gorges with their extraordinary "monkey fingers" rock formations. Overnight in Boumalne Dades.
Drive to Tinghir oasis then through the spectacular Todra Gorges — 300m high red rock cliffs. Continue to Erfoud (fossilized marble) and Merzouga. Sunset camel trek into Erg Chebbi. Berber dinner, Gnawa music, overnight in luxury desert camp.
Dawn Sahara sunrise. Full day exploring Erg Chebbi: 4×4 to flamingo lake and nomadic families, sandboarding, Khamlia Gnawa music village, optional quad biking. Second magical night in the desert camp.
Second Sahara sunrise. Visit Rissani souk (Alaouite dynasty birthplace). Drive south through Zagora and along the magnificent Draa Valley — thousands of date palms and ancient kasbahs stretching for kilometres. Overnight in Agdz.
Continue along the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate. Cross the High Atlas via Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m) with panoramic stops. Arrive in Marrakech. Evening at Jemaa el-Fna. Overnight in Marrakech.
Full guided tour of Marrakech: Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace (19th century, 150 rooms), Saadian Tombs (royal necropolis), Jardin Majorelle (Yves Saint Laurent cobalt blue garden), and the medina souks. Second evening at Jemaa el-Fna. Overnight in Marrakech.
Morning drive to the stunning coastal city of Essaouira — UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the dramatic sea ramparts, blue fishing port, art galleries, and Atlantic beach. Seafood lunch. Continue south along the beautiful Atlantic coast road to Agadir. Arrive by late afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel. Tour ends.
